8.27.25 - I can’t believe God said this to me.

Hi ,

I was in church this past Sunday and at the end of the service I was crying to God that I just wanted to hear his voice. Remove all the distractions so I can just hear him. Ya’ll I couldn’t believe how God answered me. 

Right away I heard in my spirit, “Danielle, you can’t hear me because you won’t be quiet.” Of course he was right. He is always right. I love to talk. I talk to God all the time about everything. I couldn’t be quiet long enough for God to talk with me. God hears us, but sometimes we can’t hear him because of the noise of others, or in my case, myself. 

I understood exactly what God meant and I asked him to help me listen for his voice. To talk less, and listen more. 

This year has been a wild ride. I’ve asked God to change so many circumstances in my life and I keep finding him changing me. Who knew I had so much going on that God needs to work out. 

I wanted to share this short story with you because maybe you have been crying out to God and are having a hard time hearing his voice. Quiet your mind and be still so that you can listen for the Lord.
