7.30.25 - rejoice always
Hi ,
Rejoice always.
Just before these words came to mind I was sitting at my kitchen table wondering what I would write to you about this week.
When things get stressful or we don't know what to do next we are often told to pray, but how often do we rejoice.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 tells us to rejoice always. It's a verse all by itself, but a part of verses 17 & 18.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Rejoice, pray, give thanks. Do these always, continually and in all circumstances.
Then he goes on to say this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus.
God's will is for us is to rejoice all the time. Not just when we are having a good day or when we get good news. He wants us to pray continually. In other words - always be in conversation with him throughout our day. Lastly, give thanks in all circumstances. Whatever we are facing we give thanks to God, for he is a good Father.
Let's rejoice in the hope that we have because of Jesus. Let's rejoice in knowing the Lord. Let's rejoice in another day to share the good news.
These two words have blessed me this morning, and I hope they have done the same for you.
Reply back and let me know what your rejoicing in this morning!
