7.17.25 - the details matter

Good morning ,

I'm currently reading through the Old Testament and it dawned on me this week how much God cares about the little details of our lives.

In Exodus 25-30 God gives Moses instructions for the tabernacle and it's furnishings, as well as the priestly garments. As I was reading, I noticed that God is really specific. There is order in how he approaches things. Moses spent 40 days and 40 nights with God on Mount Sinai. God had time to share the details with Moses. God gave Moses the fine details of what materials to use, the design, the dimensions, and even told him who would be responsible for making all the items. 

God left out nothing that was needed to complete the job. 

I was reminded that God cares about my life that way too. He has given me all the details I need to do what he has purposed me to do. The details I don't have, I don't need or I don't need them right now. 

Not only does God give me details, but he also wants me to share all my life details with him. Even as the Creator, he wants me to share my concerns with him and tell him about exciting things happening in my life. When we read David's prayers we learn that David told God everything. There was nothing off limits. 

God cares about your life too. He gives you the details and he wants to know the details. 

I encourage you to spend some time today sharing the details of your life with God. Ask him for wisdom as you navigate through your day.
